- VERY IMPORTANT ! (Your 16 solar panels must be connected to only 2 of your 3 inverters as follows . Each inverter will have 8 panels connected to it in total in the following manner – Connect 4 panels together in series for 1st set of panels and then connect the other 4 panels in series as well for 2nd set -now connect the 2 series sets together in parallel and then connect the + and – solar power cables to your 1st inverter . Repeat the process for inverter nr 2 .
