Hybrid solar heating system using conventional PV solar panels and a dual AC/DC geyser heating element : Capacity : 200L system : ( not connected to your existing solar panel array and inverter ) Note : The 2 systems must not be connected together
Advantages :
More efficient than conventional solar geysers .
Can be installed in less than half the time it would take to install a split pumped solar system with a traditional flat plate or evacuated tubes collector.
This system uses a PTC (Positive Temperature Co-efficient) dual AC and DC Stainless steel element expected to last in the region of 10 years.
Note : If your PV solar panels do not get sufficient sunlight for the solar heater ( rainy days in winter ) , the system will fall back on 220v AC supplied by your solar inverter /Lithium battery off grid solar system .
Real-time system performance is monitored on the system controller display which can be installed anywhere in your home that suits your needs, from this controller you can set the AC backup timer, set the maximum water temperatures and set your geyser to holiday mode if you will be away for a couple of days.
One of the most important factors consumers can benefit from include that the installation of this system does not void your geyser warranties by the manufacturer. The system has been approved by the likes of Kwikot, Heat Tech, Duratherm, and many more.

IT USES ITS OWN PANELS AND ONLY FALLS BACK ONTO YOUR OFF GRID SOLAR / WIND SYSTEM IF THE 2 x GEYSERWISE PV PANELS ON RAINY DAYS IN WINTER CANNOT SUPPLY ALL THE ENERGY REQUIRED FOR THE DUAL ELEMENT = HIGH EFFICIENCY SYSTEM .
